DM30 Module, Truck or self-propelled

DM30 Module, Truck or self-propelled?

The need to create three configurations of the same machine stems from the need to use the instrument in the most diverse situations.
MODULE configuration (ie instrument only): it is the lightest solution.
PRO: tests can be carried out inside buildings with narrow accesses or inside excavations. Maximum transportability even in the S.W. trunk
AGAINST: it is necessary to be in more (usually 2) people to move it in the case of points of investigation distant from each other. We do not recommend the use on a steep slope.

TRUCK configuration: (instrument mounted on trolley with driving wheels):
PRO: allows fast movements without making the least effort. It can be used inside buildings and confined areas.
CONS: It must be used carefully in the slopes, it needs ramps to be loaded in the car trunk type S.W.

SELF-PROPELLED configuration: (instrument mounted on rubber tracks):
PRO: it allows movements on steep slopes, the self-propelled engine is used as a hydraulic control unit.
CONS: It must be transported with a trolley appendage which, for this reason, requires the installation of an approved towing hook or with a small van, it requires ramps to be loaded.

SELF-PROPELLED configuration C: (instrument mounted on rubber tracks but with control unit with own removable motor):
It allows you to move with the crawler propulsion unit but allows, having arrived in the narrow place where it is necessary to carry out the tests, to release the control unit and detach the instrument from the tracks. Making it a MODULE version.
PRO: it allows movements on steep slopes, the self-propelled engine is used as a hydraulic control unit, it allows testing in restricted areas.
CONS: It must be transported with a trolley appendage which, for this reason, requires the installation of an approved towing hook or with a small van, it requires ramps to be loaded.
